The 2018 Harley-Davidson Softail Slim is a minimalist, post-WWII style bobber. Built on a lighter, stiffer chassis, it features the Milwaukee-Eight 107 V-Twin engine, a low 26-inch seat height, hidden adjustable rear mono-shock, and signature laced wheels.  A lighter build and modern suspension gave the 2018 Softail Slim several distinct features compared to previous models: 

• Engine: 107 cubic inch (1,746cc) Milwaukee-Eight engine, producing 110 lb-ft of torque at 3,000 rpm.
• Weight Reduction: 35 lbs lighter than the 2017 models, providing a better power-to-weight ratio and easier handling.
• Suspension: High-performance front Showa forks and an under-seat mono-shock that preserves the classic hardtail look.
• Aesthetics: Wide, cross-brace Hollywood handlebars, tuck-and-roll solo saddle, and a chopped rear fender.
